Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton III, Philip and Felecia who are on vacation from Korea were weekend guests of Mrs. Frances Thornton.
Mrs. Roy L. Reeve and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Irvine and daughter, Erin of Madison have returned home after a week in Florida. Mrs. Reeve visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Reeve in Mt. Dora while the Irvines were at Disneyw’orld and Epcot in Orlando. Mrs. Reeve’s mother, Mrs. G. W. Fullerton of Reform, Ala. returned home w ith them for a visit.
The Administrative Board of the United Methodist Church met last Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor. Members attending were the Rev. and Mrs. Merlin Shorb, Mrs. Nina B. Brown, Mrs. Lee Swindler, Mrs. Robert W. Brown, Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. Jimmy Wayland, Hugh Chrisman, Julian Brown and Nelson Nethers.
Mrs. Stuart Snellings and Mrs. Tillie Hammerslay of Bailey’s Crossroads were visitors last Thursday of Mrs. Nina B. Brown.
Mrs. Ruby Dwyer. Sam Dwyer and Connie DelGrosso of Amissville attended the Day-Zinn wedding the 18th at the Zinn home near Salem.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Scherer entertained at dinner at the TeePee Saturday evening when their guests were Mrs. William Williamson of Woodville, Stephanie Mansfield and Philip Smith of Griffinsburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Strother Brown and sons, John and Tom of Jackson Heights, N. Y. have moved into the house they purchased from the Margaret Campbell estate.

To Honor Role
A Rappahannock County student, Charles H. Easton, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring quarter at Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown.
To earn the academic honor, Easton had to complete at least a 12-quarter hour credit load and achieve at least a 3.2 grade
