The Woman's Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church met on Monday, June 20, at the home of Mrs. Margaret Eastham with thirteen members present. Mrs. Barbara Gentry led the study on Hebrews, Chapter 3. 4 and 5.

Mrs. Paul Miller spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Louis Miller, Jr. at Odenton, Md.

Mrs. Frank Spalding and Mrs. W. J. Kendrick, Jr. of Roanoke spent from Sunday until Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Braun at Cincinnati. Mrs. Kendrick left for her home on Friday.

Mrs. Evelyn Walker has been a surgical patient at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler, Daniel and Todd of Front Royal and Miss Athena Paig of Linden were Sunday guests of Mrs. Wade Pullen.

Mrs. Mary Blaisdell motored to Charlottesville on Wednesday.
