Wakefield School helc the closing exercises for thf Grammar School on Tuesday, June 14 and the graduation ceremony for its Prep School on Thursday, June 16. The award for the most improvement went to Alison Martin in the Grammar School and Chris Ralph in the Prep School. The good manners award was received by Elizabeth O’Herron. Kerry Nuti, and Bobby Thomas in the Grammar School and Elise Maar and Franz Hansen in the Prep School. The best group presentation award went to the first and second grades for their production of Noah’s Ark and to the students of the first grade for their production of Julius Ceasar. Katherine Kinter and Ron Lewsader received this award for the Prep School.

Awards were presented for outstanding achievement in many academic fields. The art award was presented to Eric Schlegel, Robbie Schlegel, and Andy Gagnon. Yvonne Chen, the sixth g^de, and Rob McDonnell received the music award. The athletics award went to Gregory Williams, Matthew O’Herron, Rebecca Sheehy, Scott Favre, and Donna Funk.
