Contestants are now being sought to represent Rappahannock county in the official 1983 Virginia State Preliminary of the U.S.A. Teen Miss Scholarship Pageant, with the pageant festivities being conducted in the beautiful Roanoke House in Roanoke, on Saturday, July 30.
Applications are now being accepted from teen misses wishing to be considered for the title and crown of Rappahannock County Teen Miss-83. The newly crowned County Teen Miss will compete in Communications, Evening Gown and Interview Competitions with other county finalists for the state crown and title of Va. Teen Miss-1983; plus a $1,000 cash scholarship award. The state’s ten semifinalists will each receive a complete, self-study modeling course.
The selected contestants will officially serve in their county for one year during which time they will represent the pageant in appropriate local activities.
