An Invitution
To Avon Hall
For the 22nd year, Mr. and Mrs. William M. Carrigan have extended a cordial invitation to the people of Rappahannock for an evening of games, balloon rides, and patriotic events culminating in a' spectacular fireworks display on the lawn at Avon Hall.
Adding to the fun this year will be the dedication and sealing of the Rappahannock County Time Capsule to be opened .July 4, 2083. Letters, documents, reports and pictures of life in Rappahannock County in 1983 will be addressed to the great-great-great grandchildren of the year 2083.
