Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr., of Front Royal, a cattle farmer and member of the Virginia General Assembly, for the district that includes Rappahannock County, has been elected a director of The Bessemer Group, Inc., and two subsidiary companies, Bessemer Trust Company (New Jersey) and Bessemer Trust Company, N.A. He has also been elected to the board of Bessemer Securities Corporation.
Guest, 43, a 1964 Yale graduate, operates a cattle and sheep farm and has served as a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates since 1971. He is a member of the Virginia State Crime Commission, on the board of the Virginia State Fair and a director of the Peoples’ Bank of Front Royal.
