• countering attempts at new condemnations and if that fails, insuring that new installations reflect realistic county needs;
• seeing that scenic and other damages to property owners are fairly compensated;
• keeping any new rights of way to 25 feet rather than the 50 feet sought by the utility;
• encouraging affected property owners not to settle with PotEd prior to the resolution of the suit;
• educating all county residents on how the new lines may affect property values, subsidiary distribution lines and the ultimate goals of PotEd, when revealed.
Bird explained the purposes of last week’s meeting. Members were asked to contribute to the Cameron’s expenses in upholding the case when it is appealed and to nominate officers to serve the group. She said that she
