Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beumer of Manassas spent the weekend with Mrs. Beumer’s mother, Mrs. Guy Foster, Sr. and Betty.
Mrs. Charles Hickerson visited Mrs. Alice Sisk at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Sisk at Front Royal last week. Mrs. Lynn Lillard of Alexandria was also visiting in the Sisk home.
The Rev. and Mrs. Peter Weems and children of Alexandria were in the county on Monday, and attended the July 4 celebration in Washington.

Mrs. T. J. Pillar was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday night at her home.
Guests were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. W. H. Cordle.
Prize winners were Mrs. Tabler, Mrs. Reeve and Mrs. Miller.
