Hitt home the bright spot of the trip. She returned to Manhattan on Tuesday.
Kerrie Hitt was to fly from National Airport Tuesday to Miami, Fla., to visit family. Alan and Kathy Knighting had returned from a holiday at Colonial Beach to attend the party.
Included in the activities was a horseshoe pitching tournament in which Mitch Hitt and Kenny Settle emerged clear champions. They plan to challenge other neighbors at a later date.
In other news, Bethanie Powell is visiting her grandparents, Ray and Ruby Cannon. And Donna Cannon plans to return from college in Colorado on the 15th to visit her parents.
