Volunteer needs and desires are paramount to Carolyn Szabad who is the Coordinator of Volunteer Services for the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Center. When a potential volunteer enters the Coordinators’ office, they are asked, “WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO”. The search then begins to find a suitable placement. If none exists, the coordinator contacts good prospective stations, which number over eighty-four possible community organizations, to find a placement that will offer enjoyment and satisfaction to the volunteer.
