Pauline S. Simpson Rappahannock Native Pauline S. Simpson, 68, of Luray, died Friday, July 1, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray. She was bom January 20, 1915, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Francis R. and Pauline W. Slaughter. She was a retired public school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Church. She was married December 26, 1941, to Kenneth R. Simpson, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Dr. Kenneth R. Simpson, Jr., of Roanoke; a brother, Turner Slaughter of Front Royal; and a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Slaughter of Alexandria. Her daughter, Polly Ann Simpson, died February 19, 1969, and a brother, Francis Slaughter also predeceased her. Graveside services were conducted at 2:30 Sunday at the Prospect Hill cemetery in Front Royal by the Rev. 0. L. Martin. Red Cross Seeks
