Mr. and Mrs. Med Jones, Will and Kristen of Centreville were Saturday visitors of Mrs. E. M. Jones and they attended the benefit dinner at the Sperryville fire hall sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Fairfax of Williamsport, Maryland were houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax from Friday until Monday.

Mrs. Henry M. Keyser spent last week in the home of her son, H. Magruder Keyser at Clifton.

Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Johnson, Jr. of Sperryville, were in Lexington recently to hear former President Gerald Ford as the first speaker in a series of lectures established at V.M.I. by Belton Kleberg Johnson of San Antonia, Texas, in memory of his father, H.B. Johnson, Jr.

Preceeding the lecture Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were guests at a small cocktail party given by the Superintendent of V.M.I., General Sam Walker and Mrs. Walker, honoring Mr. Ford and Mr. Belton Johnson and his family. Following the cocktail party there was a private dinner at Moody Hall at V.M.I.
