Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Burke at Woodbridge. Mrs. Hershey accompanied her mother home on Sunday and was a houseguest until Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Farmer and nephew and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Kidwell of Flint Hill were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser at the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary benefit dinner held at the fire hall.
The Thrift Shop will be closing for the winter months after this Saturday. Area residents are reminded to shop today, Friday and Saturday for extra special bargains. Ladies of the auxiliary would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of those who supported the shop throughout the past year in any way.
