Now Wayne Fisher is at •he Fauquier Hospital with he doctors poking him and tying to find out what ails him — a process which juickly becomes boringfor a : 7-year-old. We hope he omes home soon.
We were real glad to hear J. T. Woodward anwer the phone Monday night. Says he feels a lot beter, but being in Georgetown was like being iD another country. Still he -avs they took good care of him and he’s trying to do his best to follow doctors’ orders to slow down and take it easy. But that could get boring, too — he’s likely to take to the woods with a chain-saw and start chopping kindling just for the fun of it. They can’t take their eves off him for a minute.
Nobody wanted to take t heir eyes off him Saturday night — it was a dinner party to celebrate J. T. and Melzie’s 37th wedding anniversary. All five kids were there and all nine of the grandchildren. Also attending was Nina Nethers of t’astleton.
At Sunday dinner the usual brood was joined by Melzie’s sister and brotherin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Lutz of Orange and her niece Barbara Jean from Manassas.
Tuesday was the really big day, though. John Henry had his campaign headquarters at Charlie and Fran Eldred’s in Washington while he was waiting for the returns.
