At the beginning of the girls’ basketball season, coach Theresa McLawhom described Karen Jordan, the Lady Panthers’ ace at forjyard position, as “awe' some.”
Apparently, she made believers out of the rest of the Bull Run coaches as they voted the talented sophomore to first team all-district on Saturday.
During the regular season, Jordan scored 192 points for an average of 12.8 per game, grabbed 91 rebounds, shot 65.6 percent from the free throw line, stole the ball 26 times, blocked seven shots and was credited with 30 assists.
