Scott Keithley ran second in the regional cross country championships, just four Seconds behind the winmu', as Rappahannock's harriers finished second, behind Buffalo Cap but ahead of Bull Run District meet winner Strasburg and lone' time rival I.uraw
Standings in the Region B finals held last Thursday at Woodberry Forest were Buffalo Cap first with 20, ItCHS second with 7!*, I,uray third with 00 and Strasburg fourth with 101 followed by Riverhead, Stonewall Jackson, (Cumberland, Coochland, Maidson, Fluvanna and Stuarts Draft.
Keithley led until the last 100 yards of the course where Charles Richards of Buffalo Cap passed him in an all-out sprint. Richards broke the tape in 17:04; Keithlev was on his heels over the finish line in 17:0X.
