David Douglas Heflin, 73, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, November 2, 1983, at his residence.
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday at Prospect Hill Cemetery by the Rev. John P. Oliver, Jr.
Mr. Heflin was bom on September 23, 1910, in Warrenton, the son of the late Clarence and Lucy Kerns Heflin. He was a member of the Front Royal Elks Lodge 2382 and Loyal Order of the Moose 829.
Surviving are his wife, Constance Thompson Heflin of Front Royal; two stepsons, John McCauley of Denver, Colorado and Jim Sisk of Woodbridge; one stepdaughter, Gerrie Kestner of Amissville; two sisters, Margaret Kerns of Warrenton and Peggy Reed of Maryland; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
