Strasburg Dominates
Names from the roster of the Strasburg Rams, tournament victors and winners of the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record, dominated the Bull Run all-star squad.
The Rams placed Tammy Spence and Sophie Smith on the first team and Rhonda Gulick on second team. Also on first team with Jordan were Clarke County’s freshman sensation, Carla Holmes, who led the district in scoring with 280 points (20 per game average) and Denise Shuster from George Mason.
Rounding out the second team were Karen Smitherman and Julia Wightman (Stonewall Jackson), Pam Hall (Manassas Park) and Jennifer Piercy (Brentsville).
