Mrs. Julia Dulin Pullen, 68, of Chester Gap, died Monday, October 31, 1983, at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Chester Gap Baptist Mission by the Rev. William Alford. Burial was in Williams family cemetery, Chester Gap.

Born on December 21, 1914, in Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Mattie Pullen Dulin.

Surviving are her husband, Dudley 0. Pullen; three sons, Dudley Franklin Pullen of Conway, South Carolina, Charles Bradley Pullen and William E. Pullen, both of Chester Gap and eight daughters, Julia Ann Williams, Eleanor Ryan, Elsie Wines and Carolyn Sue Taylor, all of Front Royal, Ruby Reid of Culpeper, Grace Hines, Barbara Morris and Sandra Pullen, all of Chester Gap.

Also surviving are two sisters, Lonie Atkins of Flint Hill and Ethel Williams of Chester Gap; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of arrangements.
