Mr. r ord s lecture, given in Cameron Hall, was on the subject of peace through strength. It was attended by the Corps of Cadets of Virginia Military Institute, the students and faculty of Washington and Lee University and invited guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were special guests because Mr. Johnson and H.B. Johnson, Jr., in whose memory the lecture series was established, roomed together at V.M.I. for four years, and graduated in the class of 1926.
