Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pearson of Hume were guests last Monday of Mrs. Wade Pullen. Others guests included Mrs. Annie Ellmore of Amissville, Mrs. Charlie Butler and sons, Daniel and Todd of Front Royal, Mrs. Arland Welch, Mrs. Louise McCulloch and the Rev. Merlin Shorb.

The following news occurred during the past weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pullen, Margie Menefee, William Southard and James Menefee were shoppers in Winchester on Saturday evening.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Women will meet on Monday, December 16 at the home of Mrs. Louise McCulloch at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. David Lenox, of Chestertown, Md., were Sunday guests of the latter’s mother, Mrs. Warren Presgraves.

Also visiting on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Judd Darnell and family, of Jefferson.

Miss Sheila Scott, of Amissville was a Friday dinner guest in the Frank Huff home.

Mark Graves and Sherry Rott, of Warrenton, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard.

Bobby Smoot, of Culpeper, was a Saturday dinner guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. 0. Smoot. Sunday visitors were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Smoot, Jr., Dasha and Scott, of Front Royal.
