2. Washington is growing, in part reflecting the growth of the county as a whole. The institutions and facilities located on Gay Street are even now attempting to accommodate that growth. Most people find that growth salutary. The question is what sort of planning can be done to meet the demands of expected growth? There is open land within the town where growth would not constitute a burden. On the other hand, denying Krebser/Martin Partnership the additional use of their land would in no way deprive them its current legitimate, profitable use.
3. One of the virtues of the town of Washington now is the extent to which it combines business, services and residences.
