There are other issues, related to water, sewage, drainage, public safety and aesthetics that others might want to see addressed. Change occurs bit by bit. Accumulated changes disclose a pattern. Many'happy changes have come to Washington. Let’s not start a precedent with the proposed change for Gay Street, that will turn the town into a tacky parking lot, frustrating people with business in town, and making dangerous and unattractive situations for residents.
I hope that the citizens of our town and county will find the time to attend the next coming council meeting to hear the discussion of these issues.
