Sally Wharton
Sally Ethel Wharton, 76, of Sperryville, formerly of Castleton, died Jan. 18 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. Mrs. Wharton was a native of Rappahannock County.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Estelle Southard of Castleton and Rosie Mae Wharton of Sperryville, two sons, Archie Edward Wharton of Malaga, N. J., and Clarence Lee Wharton of Amissville, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Jan. 21 at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Milton Switzer. Interment was at the Sperryville Cemetery.
