WHY DID JESUS COME TO EARTH?
I John 3:8. This tells us He came to “destroy the works of the devil.” The Bible teaches that sickness is from the devil. Luke 4:18 & 19 says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has appointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
You people that are wealthy, do not get the idea that this scripture is only to the under privelidged. The word “poor” means people that do not know Jesus personally. Do you fit one of these categories? Are you brokenhearted, captive to a habit or to sickness? Are you blind, either in the natural or in the spirit? Are you saved and still oppressed or lost and posessed? Or are you “poor”? If you are in one of these places, now is the time to get delivered.
