ADVERTISEMENT Sealed bids in duplicate for the construction of Addition and Alterations to Rappahannock County High School, Rappahannock County, Virginia, according to drawings and specifications prepared by Smithey & Boynton, Architects & Engineers, will be received at Rappahannock County School Board Office, U.S. Route 211, Rappahanock County, Virginia until 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, February 18, 1987. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. local time Thursday, February 19, 1987, at Rappahannock County School Board Office. U.S. Route 211, Rappahannock County, Virginia. The procedure for the withdrawal of bids shal be according to Section 11 -54A(ii) of the Code of Virginia. Bidders failing to comply therewith waive all rights to claim an error. The project consists of approximately 22,000 S.F. of new construction and 8,800 S.F. of remodeled areas. A pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday. February 10.1987, at 2:00 p.m. at the building site, U.S. Route 211, Rappahannock County, Virginia (about three miles east of Sperryville, Virginia). Drawings and specifications will be available at the office of Smithey & Boynton, Architects & Engineers, 4818 Starkey Road, S. W., Roanoke, Virginia, 24014. A maximum of two sets may be obtained by General Contractors and one set by Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors upon deposit of $75.00 per set. Those electing not to submit a proposal may have their deposit refunded providing documents are returned, in usable condition, at least (10) days before bid documents are returned In usable condition, within ten (10) days after bid ate. Failure to comply with the above conditions or returning documents unbound or rebound out of order will result in orfeiture of deposit. Other subcontractors and material suppliers may obtain documents upon payment of cost of reproduction and handling, not refundable. All documents remain the property of the Architect. A limited number of sets will be available at the office of the Architect for loan, not to exceed forty-eight (48) hours. Drawings and Specifications may also be exained at the following places:
