Norman King
Deacon Norman King, 81, died Jan. 13 at his home in Marshall.
Deacon King was bom June 25, 1905, son of Mary and Bayliss King, and was educated in Fauquier public schools. He was a carpenter and stonemason.
He is survived by his wifethe former Ira A. Nelson, whom he married in December 1933. Also surviv, ing are two nephews, Eugene and Davud Thomas, both of Pennsylvania. His two sisters and three brothers predeceased him.
A funeral service was conducted Jan. 17 at Salem Baptist Church, Marshall, by Dr. C. S. Peterson. Interment was at Mt. Morris Cemetery, Hume.
Pallbearers were Deacons Eugene Nelson, Melville Tibbs, John Diggs, William Stribling and James Jackson and Trustee Carl Craig. 'Visiting deacons were honorary pallbearers.
