RjppahMDOck NeunphokVLoa HaNer STATE TROOPERS from the Motor Carrier Safety Team and a portable scales crew from the Department of Transportation conduct another truck check in Flint Hill. According to Troopers R. A. Baines and H. A. Newlin, of 15 trucks inspected last Tuesday, 10 were cited for one or more violations. Three trucks were removed from service for serious safety violations. The troopers promised more unannounced roadblocks in the future. Trooper Baines said that several truckers thanked the inspectors for checking their rigs. They told the troopers that defective equipment on their trucks had been fixed as a result of the checkpoints.
