In a final review before forwarding the 1987-88 budget on to the supervisors, the School Board members on Tuesday night endorsed pay raises recommended by Superintendent Robert Estabrook for administrators and classified personnel.
By unanimous vote, they proposed:
• $3,515 for all administrators, including the superintendent, assistant superintendent, special services coordinator, two principals and two assistant principals.
• five-step pay scale for aides based on years of experience with a 10 percent increase applied to each step.
• 14 percent pay raise for the central office bookkeeper.
• 10 percent pay raise plus experience increment for all administrative secretaries.
• an increase in pay for bus drivers to $31.55 per day for 0-9 years experience, $32.55 per day for 10-19 years and $33.55 per day for 20 years and up.
• 10 percent pay increase for custodians, the transportation superintendent and the garage mechanic.
