An Evening with Mark Twain

An Evening with Mark Twain will be presented by actor Frank Dixon on Saturday, April 4, at 8 ~p.mr mr Madison County High School. Proceeds from the program will go to the Madison County Library’s building fund, to help finish paying for the recently opened addition.

Dixon, who will be dressed and made up to resemble the famous 19th century American author of such books as Tom Sawyer and Innocents Abroad, says his selections are derived mainly from Twain’s own lectures and letters. . . “There is much humor, but it has a bite to it,” Mr. Dixon said of his program. "It’s going to be funny. It also may make people angry in places, but they will go away touched by it.” He will, still as Mark Twain, invite questions and comment at the end of the program.
