When do we change and accept the fact that the U.S.A. has all kinds of people, in all colors, shapes, sizes and ages?

We don’t care if we mine the earth and steal land, oppress and create drug and alcohol problems with natives. Yet, we are so ready to want to see cultural people, art, crafts, ceremonies and so many sweat lodges in non-traditional’s ;■ hands.

Most people don’t know or care, that most traditional native Americans resent the copying or use of their teachings. We try to catch cultural and spiritual energy and apply it in our lives, all the time forgetting the people.

I approached different friends of mine and asked them what they thought about the school racial issue. They said, “It’s not right, but what can I do?”

Cultural people’s ceremony which so many try to apply in their lives is about peace, love, harmony with all creatures; but we pull the power to us and at times forget the people.
