Reading from her written ^ statement, Mr. Luke said, "Then Albert Gatewood picks up a rock from in front of the Pine Knot and goes back down ... I heard glass break

Holding the statement in the air, Mr. Luke asked, “Which of these is the truth?”
“That,” Ms. Fuller replied, pointing at the statement.
“This is?” Mr. Luke asked again, brandishing the statement.
“Yes,” she replied, her eyes fixed on the rail of the witness box.
Reading from the statement again, Mr. Luke continued, “. . . Then Albert came around to my side with the gun. Jerome was already out of the car. Then he went over to Jerome and pointed the gun, told him if he said anything he would blow his brains out. He told me he was going to make me love him - that Jerome was going to leave.”
“Which is correct?” Mr. Luke asked again.
“That, what is written,” Ms. Fuller replied, her composure somewhat shaken. “I want to say something,” she said, apparently attempting to explain the discrepancy.
Mr. Luke quickly cut her off, saying, “Mr. Reynolds will have the opportunity to ask any questions he thinks appropriate.”
Under re-crossexamination, Mr. Reynolds asked, “Did you sign that statement because you saw a gun or because Jerome told you he had one?”
“I saw a gun,” Ms. Fuller replied, “the same gun his ex-girlfriend bought for him. She should be behind bars too - because she shouldn’t have bought it for him - he is a convicted felon. I know it was the same gun.”
