Uses of color

for healing

A workshop on the andent art of color healing will he held on Tuesday, April 14, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Middle Street Gallery. Thin workshop will discuss how healers in the past incorporated the use of color in their practice.

Specific examples of how various professions today use color, from artists to industry, will also be covered. Also included will be a spectrum analysis to understand the properties of light and color, wavelengths and how they affect us.

The seven chakras, or energy centers, will be described, their related colors and the organ systems they influence. Finally, how to apply color therapy in our daily lives will be discussed.

The workshop will be led by Kathleen Maier. The fee is $7 per person, and, since space is limited, please call 636-3078 for a reservation.
