And Mr. Brown does have some experience at fixing appliances. After 17 years as a repairman with Tolson’s Appliance in Warrenton, he spent several years working for IBM in Manassas. But he just couldn’t get away from fixing broken appliances on the side.
“Service will be the backbone of the business,” he said. His wife Carolyn will manage the store, and he plans to concentrate on service - not just what they sell, but just about anything.
