“Highways are something that should be planned for, and we re the planning commission, so I think we should make a recommendation" on the dual-laning of Rt. 211, suggested Mike Massie at the May meeting of - the county’s planning board.
“I thought we’d already had the public hearing and that the project was approved,” said Bob Anderson.
Mr. Massie, the board of supervisors’ representative on the planning cotnmission, reported that the Highway Department has scheduled an informational meeting for July 20 at the Rappahannock County Elementary School and a public hearing for the following night to again take comment on the long delayed improvement project.
