If your hunches are in conflict with your intellect, I think yqu would be wise to suffer the efforts ,<>f a little “mental gymnastics,” even.^t the expense of some stress.
This is the same problem I have with ^so-called “born-again Christians.” So long as they follow the a^ tual teachings of Christ, they are ,jn good company, and stay out of trouble. ,
But when one of these people, gets a “hunch,” he frequently interprets that hunch as a “message fropi, God," which has the same result a^>. that advocated by this Inner Peac^t Movement, that is, he bypasses thq, intellect and acts on impulse. Nexj,, thing you know, you have some idiot', explaining to the police that Jesus told him to kill his family.
If you are a “born-again” Christian, or a follower of the Inner Peace Movement, I can’t for the life of me see how you could fault such a killer. After all, he got his intellect “to relinquish (sic) control,” and went “directly to the feelings.” Praise the Lord!
