Baumgardner, Jill Waters, Jamie. Lafollette, Holly Gangel, Fran' Orendorf and Lisa Hill. Ed and Jan Hill, Lisa’s parents also camped with the group. Thursday and Friday the girls toured Washington for information of Rappahannock County. Friday afternoon the troop went swimming at the 4-H Center. During the two days the girls completed three badges, Your Outdoor Surrounding, Troop Camper and My Heritage.
The community welcomes our new Washington Baptist Church minister and family Rev. and Mrs. Darrell Bare, Emily and Evan. They moved into the parsonage on Saturday.
Friday Mrs. Steven Sengstack, Eric and Jason of Centreville visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz and they had lunch at Panorama.
Guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer and Mrs. Linda Chewning of Woodbridge.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz and sons Phil &nd Derek of Woodville and Phil’s friend Miss Michelle Grohs of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley had Father’s Day dinner at Brookside near Luray.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were Monday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraf of Fairview Beach at The Happy Clam in Colonial Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Shepherd of Fairview Beach also joined them for lunch.
Happy birthday to Sarah C. Brown who will be celebrating a birthday on Sunday, June 24.
Mrs. Carson Anderson and sister Mrs. Frances Fell and brother Stonewall Sisk, all of Glen Bumie, Md. were in the county on Tuesday visiting friends and relatives.
