Enoch C. Canard
Enoch Cleveland “Molly” Ca, nard, 72, of Front Royal, died June 13 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
The funeral was held June 16 at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall with the Rev. Daniel Clegg officiating. Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Upperville.
Mr. Canard was bom April 18, 1918, in Fauquier County, the son of the late George Cleveland and Annie Kerns Canard. He was a retired selfemployed plumber and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Rosella J. Canard; two daughters, Sylvia Deloris Kirkpatrick of Front Royal and Bonnie Rae Gallagher of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four brothers, Robert L. Canard of Atoka, Bobby Lee Canard of Marshall, Perry K. Canard of Amissville and James T. Canard of Middleburg; five sisters, Elizabeth Parsons of Fort Pierce, Fla., Bessie M. Heflin, Dorothy Frazier, Cathryn Noiseux and Ursula B. Johnson, all of Front Royal; and three grandchildren.
James Jackson Sr.
Mr. James Robert (Newt) Jackson Sr., 54, of Woodville died June 10, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived here all of his life.
He was a caretaker and gardener at VanBeren Farm.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Jackson of Woodville; two daughters, Carolyn Lightfoot and Patricia Ruffner, both of Culpeper; two sons, James Jackson Jr. of Alexandria and Ralph Edward Jackson of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; one sister, Laura Lewis of Stevensburg; one brother, Daniel R. Jackson of Warrenton, and a host of relatives and friends.
