Ground has been broken for the Animal Shelter of Rappahannock County!
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League is now in need of new members with new ideas for the management of the Shelter. We have recently celebrated our first anniversary, and have accomplished many things.
We have a Lost Pet Registry, and have created a foster-home program, which has saved the lives of numerous dogs and cats. We are not limited to just dogs and cats — we have helped horses, and are always willing to help with any animal.
We formed this badly-needed organization over a year ago to support and care for the hundreds of animals in this county. At this time we are interested in
