Mr. Reynolds said that a single agreement involving the three parties; Adelphia, the Town of Washington and Rappahannock County, will be negotiated and then brought before the town council and the county’s supervisors for a public hearing before approval.
He said he expects that the agreement will include free cable “drops,” or hookups, for the county’s two schools, the library and perhaps the town hall. And, he added, the cable system will have the capability to televise local government meetings over an open channel if any of the bodies are interested.
