All-you-can-eat breakfast
The Washington Volunteer Fire .Department will have another all-you-can^at breakfast at the fire hall this Saturday, Jan. 19 from 7-11 a.m. The menu will Jnclude pancakes, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, eggs, fried apples, hash browns, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years old. Other events scheduled by the department are breakfasts on Feb. 16 and March 30 (with an Easter egg hunt following the breakfast).
Watercolor class
Tanya Richey offers a watercolor painting class each Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Windflower Gallery in the Clopton House in Washington. The class explores new techniques in watercolor painting. The fee is $45 for Middle Street Gallery members, $55 for non-members, for five classes. For information, call (703) 675-1113.
Woman's Club meets
The Rappahannock Woman's Club will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the county Extension Office on Gay St. in Washington. All members are urged to attend.
