To the editor:
On behalf of the clients and staff of the Rappahannock County Department of Social Services, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our Christmas Basket project. As a result of the generosity of the community, we received more than $2,500 in cash plus large amounts of food, clothing, toys and wrapped gifts.
Needless to say, Christmas for many of our less fortunate citizens was made much brighter. The staff and I feel very fortunate each year to actually witness the spirit of Christmas in action as we receive these gifts from the community and
