Surviving are one brother, Charles Turner of Washington, D.C., one step-daughter, Silvia Folks of Hyattsville, Md.

Irvin Bennett
Irvin Howard Bennett, 73, of Culpeper died on Jan. 10 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Culpeper County* he was the son of the late Newman Amos and Lula Lucas Bennett.
He was a service technician for Dodson Brothers Exterminating Co., a veteran of World War II, and a member of Stevensburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Perryman Bennett; a son, Irvin Newman (Sonny) Bennett of Culpeper; a daughter, Patricia Ann Lacy of Sumter, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Eddie Bennett of Orange, Eugene Bennett and Charles Bennett, both of Culpeper; and two sisters, Lois Minder of Culpeper and Elsie Anderson of Silverdale, Washington.
Funeral services were held Jan. 13 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. William C. Smith officiating, assisted by the Rev. Irvin Haley.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Irvin Bennett Jr., Tim B/ennett, Ray Bennett, Art Bennett, Kyle Bennet#, Jerry Whitlock, Jack Davis and Harold Tuel.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
