“Murder at the Howard Johnson’s” will debut at the newly-renovated Theatre at Washington, Virginia as Olde Towne Theatre’s premiere area production.
Olde Towne Producers Sheree and Frank Kren will appear on stage together in the twoact play by Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick, which they called “hip and broadly comic.” It will be their first combined effort since they formed their production company in 1984.
As stage veterans with experience-as professional actors and directors in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and most recently New York, the Krens moved to Washington, Virginia last year. “After moving here to Washington from Neyr York City, we feel a tremendous rebirth o^mir energies,” said Mr. Kren. “New York City can take a lot out of a person. It is very vibrant, but it is also exhausting. We feel that we have found a perfect place to put our talents to work.”
