The following dogs have been picked up by Animal Warden Ray Pullen and are being held at the county's animal shelter in Amissville. Call Tracey Clark at the shelter (703-937-3283 or 937-3336) for more information about these animals.
• Red bone hound: adult male, one eye, neutered, needs home immediately.
• Boxer/bull terrier mix puppies: six to seven weeks old, need homes.
• German Shepherds: two adult, one male with choker chain, one female with brown leather collar, found at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park.
• Yellow labrador: adult male, red nylon collar, very friendly, found on Route 729 near Amissville.
• Labrador mix puppies: six, about seven weeks old.
• Australian sheepdog mix puppies: one male, one female. Blue
