On Sunday, the evening of Feb. 10, in a performance at the Washington Town Hall, Ki Theater provided another unique opportunity for the community to experience original works of art - on this occasion, musical ones by composers and per■ formers resident in the area.
The program was the second of a series of four called “The Exchange,” the first having been a reading by Nol Putnam, excerpts _ from an autobiography he is writing. The format includes audience discussion with the artists.
Carlton Coon’s music was presented through Bob Read playing a clarient and Sheryl Hurwitz a violin, 1 performing a lyrical piece reminiscent of a folk song or dance. Beginning with a conversation between ~ the instruments, the piece developed into a duet of great beauty and ; joy.
