Lorraine Duisit, whose works many of us have enjoyed"both at performances here and on her recordings, appeared with her husband, Tom Espinola, also a well-known musician. Lorraine played some songs she has sung before, but primarily new ones, inspired by her experiences as a mother, bringing up her infant in the woods and water atmosphere she loves. She performed on several harps and Tom played accompaniments on a mandolin, a guitar and a drum.
Lorraine said she is especially affected by water running over rocks and hopes to bring this music into her work - which I think we would all agree she does successfully. Her beautifully sung lullabys will send the parents and grandparents who heard them looking for any new re
