Pennsylvania and another friend have returned from a fishing trip and a study of French in Quebec, Canada. Prior to this trip Dr. Wilson had visited his son Roger in New Mexico. In May the Settle-Beck rehearsal dinner was held at Thistle Hill.
Mrs. Sylvia Gowell of Blackwater Homesteads is recuperating nicely and able to drive her car again after her recent hip surgery.
Mr. and Mrs. Chriss Hetzer and Sarah spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hetzer in Fredericksburg and Sunday for Father’s Day they took a boat ride on the Potomac and dined at a restaurant near by the river.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Simpson returned home on Sunday from a three day trip to New Concord, Ohio where they attended their 50th year reunion at the Muskingum College.
