• Read a letter from the Virginia Department of Transportation recommending that parking be prohibited at all four comers of the MainJett-Piedmont streets intersection.
• Heard an update on cable TV by town attorney Frank Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds told the council that Adelphia Cable’s attorneys have returned the town and county’s contract “relatively well markedup.”
“It’s a substantial amount of changes and we’re going to sit down with them” and County Attorney Peter Luke, said Mr. Reynolds.
