Representatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing on Thursday, June 27, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. at the Hint Hill Firehouse located on Route 641, juist west of Route 522, at Flint Hill.
VDOT representatives will also be present at the Flint Hill Firehouse immediately preceding the hearing from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for an informal review of available information by interested citizens. All interested persons are encouraged to review the proposal prior to the formal hearing.
The purpose of this Public Hearing will be to consider the proposed location and design of Route 729 from 0.07 mile south of Hickman Run to 0.20 mile north of Hickman Run in Rappahannock County.
At this location and design public hearing, relocation assistance programs and tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will also be discussed.
All interested parties are urged to attend and give the Department their comments and suggestions relative to the proposed highway improvement.
Maps, drawings, an environmental evaluation, and other information are available for public review in the Department of Transportation's District Office located on Business Route 15, just south of Route 3, in Culpeper and in its'Residency Office located on Business Route 29 at the South Corporate Limits of Wartenton.
Written statements and other exhibits relative to the proposed project may be presented in place of, or in addition to, oral statements at the hearing. Such written statements and exhibits may also be submitted to the Department at any time within ten days after the public hearing.
